once upon a time, scallion and pork chop are BFFs. one day, pork chop approached scallion and said, "you know, scalley, i partnered up with so many ingredients to create a world class dish. but if memory serves me right, i don't recall you and me ever appeared in the same dish before. i think it's time for us to lead a dish to become the world's favorite." the rest was history.
we found our other good friends, soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar and cooking oil to present you "scallions dancing with pork chops". we hope that you will find our presence inside of you quite pleasant.

"scallions dancing with pork chops" is the name that i gave to the dish. its name in chinese is 蔥烤排骨. my mom cooks it quite often. mom's taste usually is the best taste in the world to a kid. i am proud to say that, on this try, i've captured mom's taste. it is the same fragrance as i remembered and the same taste straight from mom's kitchen (okay maybe a little less yummy, no one can beat mommy).
that's some serious aggression with that knife action!!
